Need to find some long-lost Bonus Bonds?

Since Bonus Bonds started in 1970, many thousands of New Zealanders have bought them as gifts for relatives or friends. So you might have been given some at some point, only to lose track of them over the years.

Those forgotten Bonus Bonds could still have a few surprises in store. Because, if you haven't cashed them in or transferred them to someone else, they've been eligible for tax free cash prizes every month since they were purchased.

You may be a Bonus Bonds winner without even knowing it - and the great news is, you can still claim any prizes you've won over the years.

So now's a great time to reconnect with your long-lost Bonus Bonds and see what they've been up to since the last time you saw them.

  • Have a think about any old residential addresses or previous names you might have used, such as a maiden name - this is all useful information if we're going to successfully locate your Bonus Bonds.
