With Bonus Bonds in wind-up, can I continue to use MyBonusBonds?

If you’re an existing registered user of MyBonusBonds, you can continue to view your balance, update your contact details or provide your wind-up instructions before 5 November 2021. From 5 November 2021, if you have any enquiries about your Bonus Bonds or need to make any changes, you can call our Bonus Bonds team on 0800 266 374 or +64 3 474 1299 from overseas (charges may apply), Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm NZT.

I’m an ANZ customer, will I continue to be able to access my Bonus Bonds details in ANZ goMoney, Internet Banking and Phone Banking?

Ahead of the initial payment to bondholders in December, we’ll be removing your ability to see your Bonus Bonds balance and details in ANZ goMoney, ANZ Internet Banking and Phone Banking. Rest assured though that your details will still be held in the Bonus Bonds register and that this won’t impact your payment in any way. This change will take effect in early December.

After this date, to find out this information you’ll need to call our Bonus Bonds team on 0800 266 374 or +64 3 474 1299 from overseas (charges may apply), Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm NZT.

The Scheme is in wind-up, can I still use MyBonusBonds?

You will be able to access MyBonusBonds before 5 November 2021 to give us instructions for payment of your proceeds from the wind-up of the Bonus Bonds Scheme. You can also view the details of your Bonus Bonds, communicate securely with us using Bondmail and keep your contact details up to date. From 5 November 2021, bondholders will no longer be able to access MyBonusBonds.

How do I find out my balance, or if I have any existing Bonus Bonds?

Before 5 November 2021, with MyBonusBonds you can check your balance, update your contact detailsand email us securely using Bondmail. From 5 November 2021, bondholders will no longer be able to access MyBonusBonds.

You can also do this by calling 0800 266 374 or +64 3 474 1299 from overseas (charges may apply), Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm NZT.

How can I change my address?

To change your address:

  • Log on to MyBonusBonds and go to the 'My Details' screen.

    MyBonusBonds will be unavailable to bondholders from 5 November 2021.
  • If you don’t have MyBonusBonds access, you can call 0800 266 374 or +64 3 474 1299 from overseas (charges may apply), Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm NZT.

What types of bondholdings allow me to use MyBonusBonds?

MyBonusBonds will give you access to the following bondholdings:

  • Individual bondholdings you own
  • Joint bondholdings you share with someone else
  • Your children's bondholdings (if they are under 15 years of age and you are recorded as the parent or guardian of the child).

For bondholdings that require two or more signatures to operate, including a bondholding for a child under 15 years of age where two parents are required to sign, you may view the balance using MyBonusBonds. However you will not be able to update bondholding details using MyBonusBonds.

If you already use MyBonusBonds and wish to add another bondholding that you own or have operating authority on, send us a Bondmail including the applicable bondholding number to request this.

Can I access joint bondholding information through MyBonusBonds?

For bondholdings that require two or more signatures to operate, including a bondholding for a child under 15 years of age where two parents are required to sign, you may view the balance. However you will not be able to update bondholding details.

If you want to change bondholding details through MyBonusBonds, then each bondholding must have single signing authority which means each customer associated with that bondholding can make these changes without the consent of the other associated customers. To organise single signing authority, every customer associated with that bondholding will need to go into an ANZ branch to provide this.

If your child's bondholding requires two signatures, both signatories will need to give permission (with both signatories signing) before updating details on your child’s bondholding such as addresses. Both signatories will need to go into a branch to confirm updated details. Alternatively, you can arrange for single signing authority so that you can make these changes using MyBonusBonds.

How do I register my children's bondholding?

Provided you are recorded as their parent or guardian on their bondholding and have operating authority over their Bonus Bonds, if you've already registered for MyBonusBonds, send us a Bondmail requesting us to link your children's bondholdings that you have operating authority over. Please provide their bondholding numbers.

Are there any costs for accessing MyBonusBonds?

No, MyBonusBonds is free to access.

What if I forget my access number or password for MyBonusBonds?

If you have forgotten your access number, call 0800 266 374 or +64 3 474 1299 from overseas (charges may apply), Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm NZT.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on the 'Forgot password' link from the MyBonusBonds log on page to have it reset.
