The 2020 Annual Report which provided detail of our intention to wind the scheme up has been available since 30 September 2020 also. This information is also posted on the ANZ and Bonus Bonds websites and via social media to assist in reaching a wider audience, as well as radio and press advertisements. We recommend you provide us with a current email address and check that your residential address is up to date. - Expand/collapse listMy Bonus Bonds are in the name of a Trust. How do I update the details?
-
We require a Trust document that will notify us of who the trustees/ signatories are.
These trustees/signatories will then need to present us with their full identification documentation and all will need to sign the update details form unless the trust document states one trustee can sign alone (this is uncommon). Should the Trust document prove to be historic or signing instructions have been amended since, we require legal documentation that states who the current trustees of the Trust are.
- Expand/collapse listOur Bonus Bonds are held by a syndicate / informal trust, how do we update our details?
-
We require a declaration on the update details form by the signatory /claimant, that to the best of their knowledge, they are the authorised signatory, and the bondholding was set up by them as an informal trust/syndicate.
- Expand/collapse listOur Bonus Bonds are held by a club / society, how do we update our details?
-
We require recent Meeting Minutes or a legal document that specifies who the current signatories are.
- Expand/collapse listMy relative is a bondholder, but they are now deceased. What will happen with their Bonus Bonds?
-
If you haven’t already done so, you or your solicitor can let us know when someone has passed away. You can do this by visiting any ANZ branch. If you are the authorised claimant, please bring in a copy of your ID and a copy of the death certificate. Alternatively, call us on 0800 269 296. When you contact us we can go through everything with you as our requirements vary when a will exits and whether probate is required. We will let you know the next steps and what documents you may need to provide in order that when payments are made during the wind up of the Bonus Bonds Scheme, these are made promptly in accordance with the deceased wishes.
